I don't need to go outside of my home to fax. Plus, I have an electronic record of the fax and its transmittal confirmation. FAQ page and locate the types of documents you can send to get more details. Sounds complicated, but it's really easy. To send a fax from the web, all you need to do is type in the 11-digit. I click "payment complete." And away it initiates the fax.it lets me know when the fax goes through successfully, finalizes payment (no charge for unsuccessful fax) and sends me an email confirmation. It automatically takes me to my PalPal account which I chose as my method of payment. I load the thumbdrive onto my PC and transfer the pdf document to my desktop. Then, I scan that along with my documents and save it to a thumbdrive. TIPS: What I do is create a coversheet on my PC and print it. It is so simple to use and convenient and I am really just grateful it exists. I fax rather infrequently-maybe once a month on average, so this solution makes sense for me. Without a landline, Fax Fresh enables me to send a fax from my laptop. I gave up my home landline and use only my cell phone now. I have had NO trouble using this great faxing app. I did check my email and received a confirmation notice that the fax was sent successfully however the graphics on my computer screen still made it appear that the program was hung up? It may just be my computer,I don't know? Otherwise I am very pleased for a way to send a fax from home at a resonable price! Thanks! It did send the fax perfectly however, it left me second guessing which I hate. I called the recipient and verified their receipt. For lack of a better way to express the one pit fall for me i would say it kind of spit and sputtered a little! Meaning, it appeared to hang up more than once and when I finally got my fax sent it seemed to handup several times then when it showed "fax sent successfully" it was hung up again so I couldn't trust that the fax had been sent. When I send the scanned pages to my destination (either on Google Drive, Drop Box or Email) the pages get sent as individual JPG files. I have the File Type set to PDF and I have Bundle Scans turned on. Since my app updated, I can no longer scan multiple pages into one PDF file. I have a home fax but with my new land line carrier sending a fax is not compatable. Scan multiple pages into a PDF is NOT working. So I can understand the draw-but I don't think the average customer will.Įdit 2: Changed numbers to factor in cover sheets, which you'll likely want to eat the cost of.I would have given 5 stars as this is a simple and easy solution to a need many of us have from time to time. With 15 pages for $5 you're looking at a minimum 184% profit. If you went down for the $2k package you're up to 48% profit. After that you can tack on your $0.25/page and it's all gravy.Īnd, of course, this would be an easy thing to A/B test.Įdit: By the way, if you were willing to buy $500 in InterFax credits up-front (instead of $10 for their smallest package) you could do 10 pages/$0.99 with at least 33% profit. Disregarding marginal costs, that's 50% profit per transaction (assuming you eat the cost of a cover sheet)-at least! 125% profit for three-page faxes. Off the top of my head, though, I'd charge $0.99 for the first five pages. You'd want to do some market research to figure what are the most common page counts. I've never had to fax more than ten pages, so if I went to this site with my 3-6 pages I'd scoff-"Five bucks for three pages? Pffff." But that's me-maybe lots of people need to send 10-15 pages. ![]() Personally I think that $0.99-1.99 is the sweet spot, and you should tweak your cost and page counts to match that. It would look awkward, and your target audience might. Please send an email to with this information, and the team should be able to get this fixed for you asap Thanks for your patience and support. Imagine receiving a fax fresh out of the machine only to see it half-filled. ![]() I worked on a project very similar to this (and of course the others linked in this thread) for awhile (because I had a need for just such a service), so: 1) Kudos to you, the developer for actually shipping, which I did not do, and 2) I agree with others that you're pricing himself out of the market. Hi there Sorry to hear you're having trouble sending multiple scans as a single PDF. So to send 15 pages through InterFax will cost a developer at most $1.65: The cost is identical, but its rather more convenient to have a dedicated. For some more perspective: InterFax's smallest-and highest cost-per-page package-is $0.11/page. The FaxFresh app is almost identical to the web-based FaxFresh web service.
